Why is my beer pouring so fast?

Troubleshooting foamy and fast pouring draft beer

Draft beer coming out of the tap too quickly can happen due to various reasons. The most common issue is that the beer is not cold enough. Draft beer should be kept between 36-38° F. The second most common cause is that your keg has been shaken up recently. Allow the keg to settle before pouring again. Dirty beer lines are another likely cause of beer pouring too fast/foamy.
